Rackgo X RSD is designed on the principles of the Open Compute Project (OCP), which aims to minimize CAPEX and OPEX of datacenters by offering simplicity, energy and cooling efficiency, high density, serviceability, scalability and manageability.
Rackgo X RSD delivers increased utilization and flexibility through pooled resources (network, compute and storage) and enables hyper-scale agility via a flexible, modular rack architecture. It also offers the ability to manage multi-vendor hardware via the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) Redfish™ API, an open industry standard specification and schema for management of modern, scalable platform hardware.
Increased Efficiency with Unique Rack Design
The Rackgo X RSD is a rack solution that integrates QCT servers, storage and top-of-rack switches. Meant to optimize capital efficiency, its simple, vanity-free design eliminates excessive features that do not contribute to overall performance.
The Rackgo X RSD features a wider rack width of 21 inches. Compared to conventional 19-inch rack solutions, it provides higher compute density, greater storage capacity and increased airflow, which improves cooling efficiency.
The Rackgo X RSD equips centralized power supplies (PSU) on the rack. All nodes share the centralized power supplies, providing lower capital cost and high energy efficiency.
Serviceability and Easy Maintenance
The Rackgo X RSD boasts serviceability. Designed for easy cold-aisle operation, most service parts are tool-less and can be replaced in the front aisle.
Compared to conventional design where each node equips its own power supply unit (PSU), the Rackgo X RSD's centralized PSU in the rack greatly reduces total PSUs.
